- IPX1: Drip-proof. Resistant to vertical drops.
- IPX2: Drip-proof. Resistant to drops falling at an angle of 15°.
- IPX3: Splash-proof. Resistant to water spray (10 litres per minute) at an angle of between -60° and 60°.
- IPX4: Resistant to water jets. Resistant to water jets (10 litres per minute) from any angle.
- IPX5: Resistant to water jets. Resistant to water jets (12.5 litres per minute) from any angle for 3 minutes at a distance of 3 metres.
- IPX6: Water-resistant. No water will penetrate the item if it is sprayed for 3 minutes from a distance of 3 metres with 100 litres of water per minute from any angle.
- IPX7: Immersion-proof. Resistant to immersion in water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1 metre.
- IPX8: Waterproof. Withstands immersion in water to a depth of up to 1 metre. Can be used continuously; temperature and other conditions may affect performance.
- IPX9: Moisture-proof. Withstands humidity levels exceeding 90% or high-pressure spraying.
